In-growing toenails
Often managed with routine chiropody techniques, they are sometimes
painful enough to require use of local anesthetic prior to treatment.
Chronic problems and deformed nails can be permanently altered by
removing part or all of the nail and preventing re-growth. This is a
cosmetic procedure and involves a local anaesthetic. The technique has
over a 90% success rate in preventing future pain.
Diabetes, rheumatoid and high-risk feet
Diabetes and rheumatic conditions affect everyone differently, but in general, the blood and nerve supply to the feet is changed and it affects the body's ability to heal wounds. Foot assessment, treatment and advice is guided according to the severity of the condition in each individual patient. Diabetic & Rheumatoid patients with foot pain or wounds are offered urgent appointments, so please let us know of your condition when booking an appointment.
