Pupil Flattening
Here we can see Flattening of the Pupil.
The pupil is an important part of the iridology examination as it
represents the spine & the nerves which supply various parts of
the body like the organs.
Here we can see that the Flattening (2) usually indicates problems from
Thoracic Vertebrae's 8-12 & Lumbar Vertebrae's 1-2. It is also
necassary to check liver & gall bladder problems &
pancreatic imbalances e.g. low or erratic blood sugar levels.

The Inner Pupillary Border
This can only be seen with a piece or iridology equipment with up to 80 times enlargement.
These cells are an extension of the same tissue as the brain & spinal cord. This means we have access to the information about a person's central nervous system. In this case the cells are hypertrophic (thickened) usually indicating an overactivity of the physical & emotional aspects of the person.
Allergy & Autoimmune problems are commonly seen in patients with this sign. This patient had diabetes in the family & an erratic blood sugar imbalance & allergies.
Lacuna
In this image we can see Lacuna. Lacunae are like "holes" in the iris fibres. Depending on how many layers of the iris are affected i.e. if the lacuna is very dark in colour then the "hole has reached deeper layers of iris fibres & is more significant when viewing the person's health. Here at around 9 o'clock we have leaf lacuna in the thymus area. A leaf lacuna usually indicates a tendency to a hormonal imbalance. This person is an alcoholic & part of the treatment was to try to rebalance their erratic blood sugar levels.
Zig-Zagging Collarette
In this image we can see Zig-zagging of the Collarette. This is usually associated with tendencies to digestive weaknesses especially of the gastric juices & hormones. It also indicates intolerance to dairy, white flour & sometimes sugar & eggs too. The Cholesterol Ring usually indicates a tendency to high cholesterol. The thicker the ring the more the arteries have been affected by cholesterol.
This person also has Osteoporosis indicated by the white
shadow on the inner pupillary border cells.
Their inability to digest dairy & high levels of coffee
consumption lead to this imbalance.
